About Me

Hello, welcome to my Global Learning Medallion (GLM) ePortfolio. My name is Maria Sara Valle and I am a Spring 2021 Honors College graduate from Florida International University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry, with the aspiration of becoming a doctor. I have been accepted into the M.D. program at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine for the graduating class of 2025. I joined the GLM program my sophomore year at FIU during a Changemaker event of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship week where I had the incredible honor of being recognized as a Changemaker student by President Mark Rosenberg. I look forward to using the wonderful lessons I have learned through this program to serve my community as a physician in the future.
